PEDIATRIC REHABILITATION
Our
hospital offers inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to
pediatric patients in our pediatric rehabilitation unit with a 3-bed
capacity and a prolonged team in Samsun.
Pediatric
rehabilitation includes the treatment of disease groups that occur for
various reasons before, during and after birth. Cerebral palsy, the most
common cause of physical disability in the pediatric age group, is a
movement and posture disorder that occurs as a result of non-progressive
damage to the brain, which has not yet completed its development.
However, conditions such as mental retardation, seizures, eye problems,
hearing problems may accompany the condition in cerebral palsy. In this
case, the rehabilitation process is more difficult and requires a
multidisciplinary approach to achieve physical independence. Our team
consisting of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation specialist physicians and
physiotherapists, who are experienced in their field, provide high
quality and self-sacrificing services to meet the needs of the child and
his family, in line with the needs of our children.
The disease groups that we provide treatment services in our pediatric rehabilitation unit are as follows:
